Thank you to the Jonesport Masonic Lodge for hosting a Community Supper on September 22 to raise funds for Let’s All Have A Merrier Christmas.
The menu included a variety of casseroles, homemade beans, lobster stew, sausage w/ onions and peppers, biscuits and lots of pies and chocolate cake. The donations for the event totaled $550 and the Grand Lodge of Maine contributed $2 for every dollar raised which resulted in a $1,550 donation for Let’s All Have A Merrier Christmas!
Thank you to everyone who helped with this event! It makes such a difference to children in Washington County who would otherwise go without at Christmas. You rock!!

This annual event is sponsored by Yvonne Hayward and her daughter, Andie. They have been faithful supporters and helpers of Let's All Have A Merrier Christmas for a LONG time.
When Andie was just a tiny little girl, she would have her Mom drive her to Jonesport to help us sort and pick out gifts. She would work for hours and loved every single minute of it.
A few years ago, Andie asked her Mom about having a pageant to raise money for Let's All Have A Merrier Christmas. It is one of the most successful fundraisers ever.
Not only do they raise funds, each of the participants bring in new toys...enough to fill our van to overflowing!
Don't miss this special event!
This night is totally devoted to kids who would like to help with the program. To learn more about this event and to sign up your child, click the link below:

We are so pleased and proud to introduce Lily.
Lily's stepmom, Kimberly L Fitch, reached out to us to ask if Lily could help this year's Let's All Have A Merrier Christmas by hosting Lily's 2018 Angel Tree at Sugar Mags in Ellsworth (beside the Grand Auditorium).
Lily started this project when she was 10 years old to earn her Bronze award as a Junior Girl Scout. Since then, she has turned the project into a yearly tradition! She has initiated making Christmas wishes cone true for over 600 children in Hancock & Washington Counties. "To give is far greater than to receive."
Lily is 15 years old, attends Mount Desert Island High School where she participates in Jazz Band & Spring Track. She resides in Ellsworth & is currently in rehearsals for The Grand's upcoming production of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" She will be playing the role of Peppermint Patty.
This world needs more "Lily's."
